How often is the site updated?
We're aiming for at least weekly updates, ideally two to three times a week — new guides, corrections to existing ones, and expansions to the resorts directory. See our news & updates board for the latest additions.
Do resorts pay to be listed in the directory?
No. Entries in our resorts directory are written independently, with no paid placement or sponsored ranking.
Is this an official Maldives tourism site?
No — Totally Maldives is an independent guide, not affiliated with the Maldives government, MIRA, or any tourism board. For official, binding information on visas, taxes or entry rules, always confirm with the relevant government authority directly.
Will this be available in other languages?
Yes — a multi-language version of the site is part of the long-term plan, alongside the growing English guide. English is the starting point while the core content base is being built out.
