Not every resort leans into motorised watersports the way a typical beach destination might — worth checking specifically if parasailing or jet skiing matters to your trip, rather than assuming every resort offers the full range.
What's commonly on offer
Where available, the standard lineup is parasailing, jet skis, wakeboarding and banana boat rides, generally run through a resort's watersports centre in a specific zoned area of the lagoon rather than freely across the whole reef.
Why availability varies
Some resorts — particularly those leaning into a quieter, more conservation-focused identity (see our sustainable tourism guide) — restrict or exclude motorised watersports specifically to protect reef health and keep noise away from the lagoon and house reef. Others run a full motorised watersports program as a core part of the guest experience. Neither is the "wrong" model, but it's a real point of difference between resorts that's easy to overlook when comparing brochures.

These activities are almost always priced separately from any meal plan (see our resort dining guide) and booked directly through the resort's watersports centre — worth checking pricing and availability windows on arrival if it's a priority, since slots can be limited.
